The in-house legal team at Generali Switzerland, the international insurance company, is led by experienced general counsel Alexander Lacher, since April 2018, and is a major innovative force within the industry. The team is leading arrangements for the set-up of Generali Switzerland’s new “Innovation Garage” at its Adliswil location. This involves cooperation and partnership agreements with in-house start up LINGS, five other start-ups in the AI, crypro-security and InsurTech markets, partners fintech Incubator F10 and the University of St. Gallen and Salesforce. The team also performed a major sales cooperation agreement with ÖKK, another Swiss insurance company, to combine products and services offerings providing Generali with more coverage in health insurance and provide ÖKK with non-life and life insurance field coverage.
