Stephanie Bregy has been group general counsel and head of legal and compliance at SBB, the Swiss Federal Railways, since 2019. Before joining SBB, Bregy spent over eight years at the pharmaceutical company Novartis, where she served as head of legal and compliance for Central and Southern Europe, Russia/CIS and as a member of the regional Executive Committee.

Bregy strongly focuses on governance, legal and compliance matters, particularly in regulated industries, and has professional experience in international and government-related companies.

Bregy holds a Master’s degree in Law and Economics from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and studied International Business Administration at the École Supérieure de Commerce, Paris.
