Lisa joined Moderna in 2020 and leads their global technical operations and international legal teams. She joined Moderna at a unique point in time as the company scaled internationally at unprecedented speed to make its mRNA vaccine available to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic.

Lisa continues to be inspired by the company’s mission to deliver on the promise of mRNA science to create a new generation of transformative medicines. Her management of this role draws from her previous experience at Novartis where she spent eight years as the head of legal biologics, technical development, and manufacturing and senior counsel at the ophthalmology department. Lisa trained as a lawyer in Dublin, and is qualified as a solicitor in Ireland, England and Wales as well as being admitted to the New York Bar.
