Urs Schwartz has substantial in-house experience in mergers and acquisitions, distribution, finance, information technology, intellectual property, procurement, contract drafting and the negotiation of complex projects on a multi-jurisdictional and cross border level. Currently serving as the general counsel and corporate secretary of the Victorinox Group, where he works on legal guidance behind the distribution of consumer goods, including knives, timepieces, fashion and fragrances. He has strong experience in company restructuring, international law, insurance, strategic development and negotiation. He previously worked at Zurich Financial Services as the corporate legal advisor, team head of group M&A, where he supported legal advice and negotiations on major M&A transactions worldwide, global distribution networks, and major finance transactions, eventually going on to develop insurance programs in Latin America, Africa and Asia.
