About

Controlled by the Bonnier family, Bonnier Broadcasting is a privately held Swedish media group of 175 companies operating in 15 countries, and includes the mainstream Swedish TV channel TV4, streaming service C More and Finnish MTV3. The current general counsel of the company is the extremely knowledgeable Ulrika Jensen, whose career has been steeped in Swedish broadcasting organisations thanks to a variety of positions at TV4 Group in Stockholm, which she first joined in 2007. Starting at TV4 as a senior legal counsel, Jensen subsequently impressed her business colleagues and was chosen to head the legal department three years later, and did so for six years before moving to Bonnier Broadcasting in September 2016. With expertise regarding all facets of Swedish media law, Jensen provides commercially astute counsel allowing Bonnier Broadcasting to post a revenue figure of SEK7.5bn in 2017. Jensen will be an important figure in the upcoming developments of the group, which has recently become the subject of media interest, as Swedish telecoms giant Telia has confirmed reports that it is conducting talks to acquire Bonnier Broadcasting. The total price tag for the broadcaster was estimated at around €1bn, and Jensen has the adequate business acumen and legal experience to ensure all relevant legal and compliance issues that arise will be dealt with efficiently.
