Bäckström leads the legal team in Sweden covering all legal matters on behalf of the business, particularly in management of the ethics and corporate responsibility of the company, as well as its commitment to energy sustainability. On commercial matters, Bäckström and his team are also involved in a crucial way. For example, ABB is the title sponsor to the Formula E racing tour, a fully electric FIA motorsport class, and will be entrusted with the company’s upcoming business agenda including the further expansion of the company.
