Known for having solutions to even the most challenging and significant projects, Martin McCann is a highly experienced financing lawyer who current acts as Norton Rose Fulbright’s global head of business. In this role he utilises his significant expertise in assisting cross-border initiatives in conjunction with the firm’s practice, industry and client group leaders. McCann’s extensive experience in Africa means he has amassed a portfolio of notable transactions, including advising the lenders, development finance institutions and ECAs on a US$1.6bn project financing of Lekki Port in Nigeria. He also notably advised lenders on the Main One Cable project, a ground-breaking telecom cable deal on the west coast of Africa. He also advised the finance parties on the Kalangala integrated infrastructure project in Uganda.
