Darren Acres joined Dentons in London in 2011 and currently practises in the corporate department, advising on all aspects of corporate finance transactions including public and private M&A deals as well as all forms of joint ventures. Acres experience advising on transactions in Africa is abundant, having advised on deals in several countries within the continent, spanning the financial services, telecoms, mining and oil and gas sectors. Acres led the Dentons team that advised MTG – the leading international digital entertainment company – on the sale of its African production and broadcasting business and its strategic exit from Ghana, Nigeria and Tanzania. The complexity and cross-border nature of the deal illustrates Acres expertise in operating across several African legal jurisdictions.
