After almost ten years of litigation in a lawsuit filed against the Bank by COVISE, who were seeking approximately US$90m, the legal team helped reach a successful outcome to the case returning a reduced amount of US$25m.
In July 2016, the legal team assisted the Bank’s entry into an agreement with Goldman Sachs for the sale of a performing loan portfolio and adjudicated real estate properties for approximately US$40m, while retaining the service of the divested portfolio.
