Graciela Benitez is a legal professional whose career has focused primarily on corporate, commercial, and company law. Her professional trajectory reflects a specialisation in corporate governance, commercial transactions, and legal structuring for businesses operating in Paraguay.

Graciela Benítez studied law at the Facultad de Derecho of the Universidad Nacional de Asunción between 2013 and 2018. During her academic years, she participated in the X International Arbitration Competition held in Buenos Aires in 2017, an experience that strengthened her analytical, negotiation, and dispute-resolution skills.

In 2014, she began her legal career at Ferrere Abogados, a multi-jurisdictional South American law firm. In 2021, she joined Sodru Paraguay S.A. (a subsidiary of an international soy trader) and South American River Company S.A. (the largest port chain in Paraguay) as an in-house lawyer. By 2022, she was responsible for launching the Compliance Programme ‘Do the Right Thing!’ and was elected as a member of the company’s Ethics Committee.

More recently, in 2026, she expanded her professional practice by advising and serving as one of the in-house lawyers of GICAL, a pioneering company and national leader in the field of storage, logistics, and warrant issuance.

Overall, her practice is focused on commercial law, corporate law, and especially company law (‘derecho societario’). This reflects a strong concentration on advising businesses regarding incorporation, governance, shareholder relations, restructuring, compliance, and commercial agreements.
