Among other actions, by participating in significant projects from early discussions in order to evaluate and warn about risks and to work on alternatives when necessary.
How has the role of General Counsel evolved in recent years, and where do you see GCs creating the most value today?
A General Counsel is not required to know everything but to know where the response could be found, to transmit certainty on the consequences of actions, and to contribute ideas with creativity and pragmatism.
How has AI changed the legal function recently (including in the past year), and how are you approaching it within your team?
AI allows not only quick access to an impressive amount of data but also the possibility to analyse it and to process it in ways everyday more diverse and unsuspected. We try to keep up with this topic through capacitation and a growing use in our daily tasks.
How do you build and maintain a strong legal team?
For a strong legal team, it is important a strong leader. This is the reason I participate in capacitation activities that help me refresh and develop the skills that are necessary to help me to support and to guide my team. I also take care of aspects such as communication and work environment within the group.
