What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past 12 months?

The most prominent and singular key project preoccupying Argeo’s legal department during the past 12 months is the uplisting of the company from Euronext Growth Oslo to Euronext Oslo Børs, the main list on the Oslo Stock Exchange. This process involved conversion of the company’s organisational form (from a private to a public limited liability company) with all the intricacies this involves.

We were also involved in the adoption and implementation of new corporate, governance, compliance and reporting policies and routines, and the drafting and filing of an EU listing prospectus, all of which was handled quite efficiently. Ensuing the uplisting, as separate venture half a year later, a secondary noticeable project for Argeo’s legal department was the successful planning and effectuation of a larger private placement, which also involved the preparation of a subsequent repair issue towards the retail market and the successful filing of yet another EU prospectus.

The up listing and the private placement coming, in addition to other capital markets and regulatory activities, has made it quite a hectic year for Argoe within that sphere of corporate management.

On the more operational level, a key project worth mentioning is the successful negotiation, preparation and execution of the first ever investigative campaign of RWE Canopy Offshore Wind for a commercial-scale floating wind project in the Pacific Ocean, off the Northern California coast. Although it is Argeo’s forte to execute highly complex subsea projects at exceptional water depths, this project and its appurtenant contractual framework proved intricate manoeuvring, not only due to technical aspects but because of the highly diversified stakeholders, ranging the gamut from the US government to marine life protection NGOs.

Other key projects during the last 12 months includes tendering, negotiating and effectuating complex survey campaigns for many of the most prominent oil and gas majors, including state owned conglomerates, executed across global geographies and involving an impressive array of different subsea expertise within bathymetry, geophysical, geotechnical and geochemical services offerings.
