Active in the automotive, retail, industrial and investment sectors, Al Tayer Group has featured prominently in the Middle East business landscape for decades, and currently has a presence in 12 countries in the region. Having to support the company in such a variety of sectors across this number of jurisdictions means the lawyers within its legal team have to be versatile, quick-thinking and able to get to grips with the particulars of a wide-ranging product portfolio.

Chief legal officer Tim Frost has been at the helm of the Al Tayer legal function for over a decade, being responsible in no small part for its expansion during this time both in terms of size and capability. Alongside him, the team includes a number of  well-respected individuals, including senior legal counsel Chris Nillesen whose prior experience made him an ideal
fit for the team upon joining in 2014; he was previously a divisional lead for Serco in the United Kingdom, a similarly diversified conglomerate requiring a variety of skills from its in-house lawyers.
