Coming in for praise from nominating sources on the back of excellent performances on a number of transactions, the Al Dahra Holding legal function is compact but consistently excels in its handling of the company’s supply chain management, transactional support and other matters. One of the most prominent agribusiness-focused holding companies in the Middle East, the company – supported by its legal team – achieved a major coup in July 2018 by adding Romania’s Agricola Braila, the country’s largest agricultural producer, for a deal estimated to be around €230m. Dawn Sanderson, senior legal counsel, has been ultimately responsible for legal matters at Al Dahra since joining in March 2016 and can take a large share of the credit for the team’s success. Joining her is junior legal counsel Rajaa Al Farra who assumed her position in early 2018.
