Rima Hadid is an accomplished legal advisor, possessing over two decades of valuable experience in both private practice and in-house roles. Her most notable experiences include serving at two prominent sovereign wealth funds (“SWF”). Rima currently serves as the general counsel at the Federal Sovereign Wealth Fund of the UAE, where she leads a team of corporate law and funds specialists, along with overseeing the compliance function.

Rima’s role requires her to lead structural and corporate reforms for strategic government assets, reviewing and advising on investment mandates in private equity and various forms of liquid and structured investments, as well as offering legal expertise on all matters arising from the SWF’s implementation of the Federal government’s investment strategy.

Throughout her career, Rima has played an instrumental role in facilitating local, regional, and global M&A transactions across a diverse range of sectors. Her contributions have been instrumental in bringing these transactions to fruition.
