Stavros is a general counsel with more than 20 years of total legal experience.

He is currently group general counsel at Alhokair Group. Previously, Stavros was the general counsel at Careem for more than six years where he built the legal function from the ground up, co-led Careem’s fundraisings totaling more than $500 million and co-led from the Careem side the acquisition of Careem by Uber for $3.1 billion.

Stavros’ passion is scaling legal functions in complex business environments and forming trusted partnerships with leadership teams to achieve success.

Stavros studied law at Cambridge University and is an English-qualified solicitor.
