Fayyaz Mahmood has been praised for his role in obtaining Bahrain Airport Company’s UK Health and Safety certification in 2015. BAC was established in 2008 to develop and manage Bahrain International Airport’s commercial operations and primarily outsourced legal work, until Mahmood’s arrival in 2011. Setting up the legal function from scratch, Mahmood not only established comprehensive processes and procedures, but also took significant steps to shift the ‘culture’ of the business, according to our sources.
