The Mexichem legal team assisted in the negotiations on the acquisition of a 44% interest in Petroquímica Mexicana de Vinilo through Mexichem’s subsidiary PPQ Cadena Productiva, which was acquired from Pemex in July 2018 for US$178.7m.
The team also recently completed the acquisition of 80% of Netafim, a major irrigation company, through a share purchase agreement for US$1.89bn.
In January 2018, Mexichem announced the acquisition of Sylvin Technologies, a niche PVC compounds manufacturer based in the US, for an enterprise value of US$39m.
