As a key contributor of all central business developments the company undergoes, the legal team at Grupo México is in charge of all legal matters related to offshore oil and gas, energy and project finance related to the largest mining company in Mexico. The legal department is led by Mauricio Vives, general counsel, energy and infrastructure, who is described by peers as a ‘talented corporate lawyer with deep understanding of finance law and an outstanding sense for business development’. The team continue to add true value to the business – one way they achieve this is through the amalgamation of business acumen amongst the team members which has enabled Grupo México to pursue new ventures even in a sometimes challenging economic climate.
