Edgardo Mendoza is the general counsel of Kavak, before joining Kavak, Edgardo served as general counsel of AlphaCredit, and prior to joining AlphaCredit, he worked as head of corporate and M&A in the legal division of Grupo Lala. Edgardo has also worked at leading law firms in Mexico, the U.S., and the UK, including Mijares, Angoitia, Cortés y Fuentes, S.C. and Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP. Edgardo has an LLM from Columbia University and a law degree, JD equivalent, from Universidad Iberoamericana.
