Takeshi Horikomi is a senior executive at ASICS Corporation, where he serves as chief administrative officer (CAO) and managing executive officer. Horikomi holds a law degree from Waseda University and is admitted to the bar in the State of New York. In this role, he was instrumental in strengthening the company’s governance framework and advancing intellectual property strategies aligned with business objectives.
In 2024, Horikomi was promoted to managing executive officer and chief administrative officer. As CAO, he assumed comprehensive responsibility for corporate functions across the organisation. His scope of oversight includes not only traditional administrative areas such as HR, legal and general affairs, but also sustainability initiatives, safety and quality assurance and executive-level coordination functions such as the corporate secretariat. This broad mandate reflects the organisation’s trust in his ability to integrate corporate functions and drive enterprise-wide value.
More recently, his responsibilities have expanded further to include business planning and regional strategy, underscoring his growing influence on ASICS’ long-term direction and global operations.
