What are the key projects that you have been involved in over the past twelve months?
As the most senior member of the Legal team in Asia Pacific, we have been dealing with multiple disputes not only limited to commercial, but also in the operations area. Effectively insourcing necessary expertise, we have saved more than $14m of spending while recovering and protecting business worth over $120m.

Good command of tech tools and the ability to talk in such context to ensure business can accelerate growth leveraging AI/AI tools.
Have you been in a situation where expectations between Japanese and global stakeholders differed? How did you resolve it?
There have been many occasions where the US team sees the picture from US perspective only. It is key to ensure effective communication to put all the stakeholders on the same page, leveraging experience in US law/culture to explain Japanese law/culture. Demonstrating an understanding of US law/culture is crucial.
