Career Biography

Hiromitsu has consistently pursued his career as in-house counsel, with around 25 years’ experience in both Japanese and multinational companies.

In the age of generative AI, his areas of interest have recently expanded to not only rendering practical legal compliance advice, but also to updating his current legal practice towards the enhancement of integrity, well-being culture, sustainability and brand reputation.

Prior to Adecco, he worked for Unilever Japan Holdings K.K. where he assumed various responsibilities as Senior Legal Manager.

While serving as chair of the International Corporate Counsels Association (INCA), since 2025, he has also served as a non-executive director for multiple Japanese companies.

Hiromitsu received his B.A. from Kobe University, M.A. from the Goerge Washington University, J.D. from Pace University Elisabeth Haub School of Law and is admitted to practice law in New York.
