The review of the intellectual property portfolio. Saving created around €1mn. 

Can you foresee any key developments to the way general counsel work over the next five years?  

On compliance, ESG requests a permanent activity of monitoring and an adequate protection of the company in terms of D&I. Concerning artificial intelligence, there will be an opportunity to simplify and optimise the work concentrating human capabilities on complex issues. Lastly, regarding transparency, a continuous effort to pursue such condition will be the driver of the legal activity and will became the DNA of its behaviour. 

What measures has your company taken to embed sustainability practices into its core business operations, and how does the role of the general counsel contribute to driving and ensuring sustainable practices within the company?  

OVS obtained in the last three years the first position in Transparency Index (2021 – 2022 and 2023) of Fashion Revolution. It represents an achievement of the group considering different factor in terms of policy, commitments on governance and supply chain. Without a strong commitment of the legal function such result is not pursuable and maintainable.
