Massimo Sanvito has an impressive two decades of legal experience in private practice and in-house legal teams in Milan, Munich and London, currently serving as as the general counsel of GE Power Services for Europe, Russia/CIS and Turkey. Sanvito started his career at GE in 2005 as a senior contract risk manager for the company’s power services business. He then held a number of other roles within the power and water legal organisation, being responsible for all GPS and renewables legal operations in Europe for five years and serving as general counsel for the gas engines (now DP) business based in Jenbach, Austria, where he successfully managed to help the company to drive a successful business while simultaneously dealing with a delicate internal investigation. In his previous role, Sanvito was general counsel for the power and water Europe division where he had legal and compliance responsibility for the whole organisation across Europe, Russia/CIS and Turkey.
