Massimiliano Caforio is the general counsel of Mercury Luxury Group, a multinational luxury retail company. He is a lawyer with over 15 years of experience as a general counsel in multinational companies operating in different industries including fashion and design, furniture, baby care, health and beauty care, medical devices and cosmetics. He has a proven track record of legal and management skills in multicultural and challenging environments showing strong leadership, recognised ability of definition and implementation of short and long term objectives. He says that his leadership strategy is to have his team focused with ‘competency, passion and accountability’. Caforio has particular expertise in M&A, IP and trademark law, through his qualification with the Qualified Italian Trademark Lawyer Association as a European Trademark Attorney.
