Transitioning to the in-house world after a short spell in private practice, Antonella Centra has gone on to have a remarkable in-house legal career in a number of notable companies across Italy. She served in senior legal roles for the likes of Prada, Coca-Cola Italia and Bottega Veneta before being appointed to her current role as global general counsel for iconic and globally renowned fashion brand Gucci in July 2015. Although her role is based in Milan, Centra is required to oversee the luxury fashion brand’s legal affairs on a worldwide basis, calling on Centra to utilise her accumulated legal skill and experience of the industry. She has gained the reputation of a resilient and proactive lawyer, with a strong proficiency in various legal practice areas crucial to the worldwide business, including M&A and intellectual property.
