Its brands include SuperValu, Centra, and Daybreak with locations across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Spain. Musgrave is Ireland’s largest private sector employer and has been in operation since 1876. The legal team at Musgrave protects the brand from legal liability, ensures all regulation is adhered to, and creates commercial value for the firm by expanding its contracts, partnerships and projects. For example, the team has worked on the new partnership between SuperValu, a Musgrave subsidiary and Ireland’s largest grocery retailer, and Guaranteed Irish, the non-profit corporation promoting Irish business with its certification of origin in Ireland. This €700,000 investment by SuperValu is just one of many new initiatives and projects worked on by the team.
