Roman Abramenko, chief legal officer of KamaGames has expertly served in the role since 2012, creating the breakthrough online gaming group’s legal department, hiring and training all its lawyers. He has led the legal and tax part of multinational acquisitions and supervises the tax and legal compliance of all the group companies. The group has not had issues with compliance during the last six years. Abramenko has created and implemented a tax-driven corporate structure for a mobile and online gaming multinational. He identifies that one of his career highlights has been ‘joining this wonderful company that actually makes rules and history in IT-law, and building the group corporate structure… I want to think that I have established a very high standard of legal work within the department. Our solutions are innovative and not too aggressive, our language is clear, our reaction is quick’. Also of note was his leadership on the partnership agreement with Manchester United Football Club, and implementing an Initial Coin Offering (ICO).
