Can you tell us a little about your significant accomplishments over the last few years, as a team or by yourself?

The past few years have been challenging, but our group is currently developing retail projects, and these new retail project agreements and contracts are negotiated in quantum and with no precedent. Despite Covid-19 restrictions, lockdowns, and timelines getting pushed, rework of the agreements and contracts was happening at all the levels, and we managed to close over 150 agreements. The shopping centre Jio World Drive was launched in October 2021, which could not have been possible without the support of my legal team.

How has the increasing consciousness of climate change and sustainability affected your company and the team’s priorities?

Both health and safety and environment are our topmost priority. Our group commitment to sustainability development goes beyond our operating boundaries, as the group continuously aims to add value by advancing knowledge and improving lives at various levels. The policies towards sustainability adopted by the company are advanced and ongoing. Nevertheless, more often than not, sustainability is one of the points under discussion in negotiating the contracts. Due to policies adopted towards sustainability, it has not affected our negotiations company level and team’s priority.
