Natra is a bean-to-bar confectioner involved in all phases of the chocolate production cycle, selling chocolate and cocoa-derivative products to industry and retail customers. The legal team is led by Sabina Díaz Luengo, who built it from the ground up after joining as Natra’s first lawyer in 2008. Since that time the company has grown from a relatively small and primarily Spain-based enterprise to a global business operating production plants in Spain, France, Belgium and Canada and maintaining a commercial presence in Europe, the US and Asia. Díaz and her small team of lawyers have proved pivotal in helping Natra to expand, with nominators commenting on the team’s great skill in handling a range of challenging matters, including assisting with new product launches, protecting the company from risks in new international markets, and overseeing commercial negotiations.
