A leading global highway concession company with a significant portfolio in Brazil, India, Mexico, and Spain, ROADIS recently recruited the highly respected Ana Lorente to the position of general counsel.

Since joining the company in November 2017 she is facilitating the company’s growth strategy, namely, its expansion into Portugal with ROADIS’s recent agreements to acquire stakes in Auto Estradas do Atlantico and Auto Estradas do Litoral Oeste. Lorente is well known in Spain’s in-house legal community having held the position of director of the legal area and secretary of the board for six years immediately prior to her current role at Obras Subterráneas (OSSA), Spain’s leading company in underground mining and construction projects.

Before that she was director of corporate legal affairs between 2000 and 2011 at Ferrovial, one of the world’s leading developers of transport infrastructure and urban services. She graduated in law from the Complutense University of Madrid in 1990.
