General counsel Antonio Ho works with two support staff, a project coordinator and project assistant, to deliver advice on all legal matters for T Stone Group. The team supervises the investment projects as well as dealing with high level private contracts and reports directly to the director. The project coordinator liaises with other departments on the projects and the project assistant provides administrative and legal translation support to the department. Ho has implemented more training and informative reports coming from the legal staff to other groups within the company, such as training on financial regulations and rule changes across the global financial sector, having also handled a multi-million US dollar transaction with the public sector involving some of its community investment projects. Talking about the leadership he provides the team Ho says that, ‘investing effort in being concise and clear with your words allows effective communication within the whole company. During the beginning of the company the roles were not as clear. After noticing problems that arose as more workload materialised and more people joined the company, we quickly realised certain behaviours have to be tweaked and effective communication is key’.
