Noble Group’s legal department is led by Jeffrey Alam, group general counsel since 2005, and includes a strong senior management team including UK – Hong Kong dual qualified commercial lawyers. The group is a major supply chain management company providing logistics and transportation, price risk management and hedging, processing and blending, and structured financing solutions. The legal team provides coverage for the Group on all contentious and non-contentious legal matters supporting the supply chain business from front office to corporate functions. This includes commercial, trade, corporate, finance, transactional matters and operations, as well as business affairs such as insurance (marine and non-marine), employment, trademarks/IP, compliance, governance and best practice. Tim Eyre is head of litigation and responsible for almost all arbitration, disputes and conflict issues globally. He is also the primary legal advisor to the shipping business covering charting, owned ships, carriage of goods, finance, leasing, joint ventures, ship management, construction and other projects.
