Fox Networks Group Asia manages the international output of the Fox branded television channels including FOX, FOX Sports, FOX Life, FOX+ and National Geographic Channel, FOX Movies, FOX Movies Premium and Star Chinese Movies and non-linear brands include FOX Play, FOX Play+ and Nat Geo Play. The company’s in-house legal team handles all of these networks including their IP, regulatory issues and distribution and licensing agreements. Globally Fox reaches almost two billion people through its international channels, with Asia one of its biggest markets and most important growth sectors. The legal team, under the leadership of Francis Chang, helps execute those plans smoothly and creates continued success in the region. Chang has been chief legal advisor and general counsel for the company – which holds the position of Asia’s leading pay TV network – since 2016. Chang is responsible for leading the entire Asia legal team and the group’s standards and practices including deals, contracts, negotiations and all other legal matters.
