Rembert Meyer‑Rochow is Executive Director, Legal and General Counsel for the Europe and Middle East & Africa Geographies at Lenovo. He leads the legal function of these regions across a broad spectrum of complex, cross‑border matters. He advises senior leadership on strategic legal and regulatory issues, including competition law, data privacy, intellectual property, employment law, commercial transactions, litigation, M&A, and on emerging technology risks and opportunities.

With Lenovo’s transformation into an ‘AI company’, Rembert plays a central role in shaping Lenovo’s legal strategy on rapidly evolving areas such as AI governance, data protection and cloud services. He provides strategic counsel on the legal implications of deploying AI-enabled products and services across jurisdictions, balancing innovation with compliance under numerous frameworks such as the GDPR, the EU Data Act and the EU AI Act. More recently Rembert as has been focused on supporting Lenovo’s expansion in the Middle East, including Lenovo’s constructing of manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia.

Rembert has extensive experience in structuring and negotiating complex commercial arrangements, including large-scale sales, distribution and channel strategies across diverse markets. He is valued for his ability to translate legal risk into clear business decisions, particularly in areas such as pricing practices, go‑to‑market models and contractual frameworks in regulated environments.

Rembert is known for building high-performing, internationally integrated, cross functional legal teams, and for driving efficient processes to support fast‑moving business needs. He works closely with global stakeholders, including headquarters, regional leadership and functional teams, to ensure alignment and consistency in legal approach across jurisdictions. His leadership style combines strong technical expertise with a practical, business and solution‑oriented focus.

Prior to joining Lenovo, Rembert held senior legal roles in multinational organisations, including Autodesk and Intel Corporation, developing a broad skill set across corporate, commercial and regulatory law in the technology space. He has worked in numerous jurisdictions throughout his career, and is regarded as a trusted adviser to both business executives and external stakeholders.
