Frances commenced her legal career with Clifford Chance in London and moved to the Clifford Chance Hong Kong office in 1996. She moved in-house with UBS AG in Hong Kong in 2005.
Frances is qualified as a solicitor in both England and Hong Kong.
Her current role as Head of Legal for APAC Global Banking involves leading a team of lawyers in Asia-Pacific covering equity and debt capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged and structured finance, and strategic equity solutions, positioning Group Legal as a trusted strategic adviser to the business. Her additional role as Hong Kong General Counsel includes overseeing and coordinating legal services and material cross-divisional matters affecting Hong Kong.
Frances is an active supporter of UBS’s volunteering events, a culture ambassador, and a mental health champion.
