With more than 10 years of experience within Hoteles City, Santiago Parra has held different positions and has been in charge of the relationship with financial and banking institutions, with the aim of negotiating credit lines and alternative financing strategies in Mexico to support the expansion plan of the hotel chain. In 2008, Parra managed the financing of more than 25 projects with different banks in Mexico and abroad. Among his achievements, he has led the negotiations and closed a syndicated loan for one billion dollars, whose loan is the largest in the history of the City Express chain, which favoured the financing of 12 new hotels and the refinancing of 39 properties. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana and an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
