HEDNO is the operator of the Greek national energy grid network and possesses a set of talented in-house lawyers. The team has worked on a number of major transactions including the partnership agreement with The Independent Power Transmission Operator (IPTO) and the National Technical University of Athens to improve the network in a €19.2m investment.
The legal team also collaborated on the development of the “Switch On Innovation Lab” an innovation lab for the creation of a smart grid system in Greece.
Additionally, the team has provided legal guidance on the company’s opening of the Ambelokipoi Distribution Center, a new flagship facility and related underground electrical lines, with a €25m investment, serving the wider Athens area.
