Anna Tachriltzidou

Legal Director | Intrum

Ana is Legal Director at Intrum Hellas, one of the largest credit management services providers in Greece. She leads the Legal Services function and a team of around 35 legal professionals, reporting directly to the Chief Corporate Services Officer. Given the scale and diversity of the portfolios under management, the Legal function is regularly called upon to address complex legal issues and provide guidance and direction.

Her career has been built at the intersection of litigation, financial services, restructuring and complex distressed-credit matters. She began her career at Piraeus Bank, where she gained extensive courtroom experience, focusing on litigation arising from major corporate lending matters. This provided her with a strong technical foundation and a deep understanding of the legal issues connected with the banking and financial sector. Since joining Intrum in 2019, she has progressively assumed broader leadership responsibilities: from managing complex insolvency and pre-insolvency matters, to leading the Wholesale Legal Centre of Excellence, and, since early 2026, taking overall responsibility for the Legal Services function. Along the way, she has developed extensive experience in loan restructurings involving corporate groups and individuals, portfolio transfers, insolvency proceedings and rehabilitation agreements, and the resolution of complex legal issues arising from real-estate portfolios. She has also been closely involved in translating changes in legislation and case law into practical solutions for the business, helping the organisation navigate an evolving legal environment while achieving faster recoveries and settlements and supporting its commercial objectives.

As Legal Director, her key priority has been to transform the Legal function into a more integrated and strategic business partner. She has led a reorganisation aligning Legal with the structure and strategic priorities of the wider organisation, restructuring reporting lines and workflows across the teams to achieve faster turnaround on time-critical matters and clearer ownership of complex files. She has also focused strongly on building a culture of teamwork across the teams, based on collaboration, knowledge sharing and collective responsibility. As part of this transformation, she has driven the adoption of technology and AI tools designed to reduce repetitive work and enable the teams to focus more of their time and expertise on strategic legal matters.

She believes that the role of an in-house legal function goes beyond identifying and managing legal risk. Legal should understand the business, anticipate challenges and work with the business to develop practical and commercially viable solutions. Just as Intrum’s purpose is to enable financial health for people, businesses, and society, she believes the Legal function has a role to play in supporting that same objective, ensuring that legal strategy is aligned with fair, sustainable and workable outcomes. This approach has guided her throughout her career and has been particularly important in her current role, where she seeks to combine strong legal expertise with a clear understanding of the company’s strategic priorities.

This is the standard she holds herself to: a Legal function that is technically excellent, genuinely embedded in the business, and judged not only by the legal risks it manages but by the outcomes it helps deliver.
