Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?

A significant innovation that resulted from a long-lasting collaboration between the same members of our legal team was the creation of an internal database consisting of numerous lawsuits, agreements, contracts and other legal documents prepared by our team members during the years for the specific enterprise. All legal team members could use this internal database as a source for finding templates for drafting new legal documents. This work took some time, but the result was impressive, having significantly improved the legal team’s services provision to the enterprise. More specifically, by using this internal database, the legal team can more quickly and more efficiently provide its legal support, either orally or in writing and contribute to the quick and successful resolution of the issues that may arise during the operation of the enterprise.

How important is choosing to work with external lawyers who align with your company’s values? Are you likely to reconsider what firms you work with based on this?

Working with external legal advisors is very important for us, as their contribution could be significant for successfully handling a case or transaction. Their extensive expertise on a case-by-case basis and their deep knowledge of the legal matter are the first big step toward success. Indeed, aligning with the company’s values and interacting with our legal team are two essential criteria for the selection and continued cooperation with a law firm.
