Highly valued for her strategic business advice in addition to her wide legal knowledge, Elli Photiadou occupies a place on the AstroBank board of directors and is head of corporate governance as well as being head of the legal department. Joining the company in mid-2008, Photiadou was in the fray as head of legal from the outset, utilising her extensive prior experience – gained both in-house at Universal Bank and during a seven-year private practice career – to rapidly add value to the legal function’s operations in support of the company’s objectives.

The steady expansion in responsibilities that she has enjoyed since this time is testament to her abilities and consistent success in executing the projects required of her, as well as the respect with which these are viewed by AstroBank’s senior management. In addition to her day-to-day legal role, Photiadou serves as secretary to AstroBank’s board of directors.
