About

After nine years of experience in German and US law firms, Nina joined McKinsey on the doorstep of the first lockdown in March 2020. In the newly created position as associate general counsel, people legal based in Germany, she has since been responsible for all employment legal matters in Germany, Austria, and Scandinavian countries — Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark. Her scope of work includes initiatives such as D&I, internal investigations, employment litigation, acquisitions and external workers, and day-to-day employment law issues within McKinsey. She drives strategic topics such as the future of work and supports senior leadership locally, regionally and on a European level, as well as company committees in the US.

Nina has also been instrumental in digitalising all contracts, including employment contracts, service provider agreements, and internal memos within Europe and standardising internal processes alongside local and regional HR functions. She introduced training on legal topics for the HR and recruiting teams, which she holds regularly.
