Dr Thomas Riemann heads the legal department of Verband der Vereine Creditreform, which currently has offices in 23 countries and provides an international expert network for credit reporting and debt collection services. The company provides business information services, receivable management, direct marketing services, risk management and software solutions, amongst other things. It is in these areas that Dr Riemann brings his wide realm of financial expertise to the business, acting as an important facilitator of legal operations. Dr Riemann started his legal professional career at law firms in Cologne and Düsseldorf before taking an in-house role with the Federation of German Industry from 1990 to 1998. He then moved through a succession of high-profile roles from 1998 onwards –  including being head of legal for both RWE and Johnson & Johnson – before joining Verband der Vereine Creditreform in 2007.
