Hilka Schneider has been a member of the group executive committee group director legal, compliance and board office of TUI Group since 2014. In this position she is in charge of the board office, group compliance and group legal and M&A activities, managing the legal departments of TUI Group’s operating companies worldwide. Schneider started her professional career at international law firm Clifford Chance in 2009, with a focus on corporate finance, offering consultation services to international corporations in M&A transactions. Prior to this role she worked for the logistics group Deutsche Post DHL as an in-house lawyer where she gained experience on joint ventures projects in Germany and abroad and capital market law. Schneider also practiced the international mechanical engineering company Demag Cranes, now known as Terex following a takeover, listed in the MDAX until the end of 2011, as general counsel.
