Having amassed over two decades of experience as a partner in notable international law firm Cleary Gottlieb, Christof von Dryander brought a wealth of experience to the in-house sector upon accepting a role at German banking giant Deutsche Bank in 2012. An extremely well-decorated legal professional, von Dryander is admired for his ability to undertake seemingly huge challenges with aplomb. He helped establish the Frankfurt office of Cleary Gottlieb in 1991 and subsequently impressed through his work on several large German privatisation projects during the course of the following two decades, including those of Deutsche Telekom, Deutsche Post and Deutsche Postbank as well as many landmark M&A transactions. He started at Deutsche Bank in the position of general counsel for Germany and Central and Eastern Europe, as well as for the asset and wealth management and private and business clients divisions globally at this time. Von Dryander currently utilises his expertise via the practice of banking and finance, capital markets and corporate law.
