The team has been supporting major expansion by the company on the back of strong overall performance of the global spirits sector. In particular, large recent growth in Pernod Ricard’s marketing has been supported ably by the legal team.
In July 2019, Pernod Ricard acquired a majority stake in South African spirits producer Inverroche Distillery for an indusclosed sum, displaying the legal department’s M&A abilities.
