What are the most significant cases and transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?

The formation of CRDB Bank DRC was a major project and it was spearheaded by my team, and it was a big milestone for our bank. The case of Symbion vs CRDB was a major case that we won at the court of appeal of Tanzania where the bank was able to defense the recovery of $13m.

Are there any causes, business or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I am passionate about imputing knowledge to young lawyers and giving them opportunities to learn in the banking sector. I am currently preparing to give a lecture at the law school of Tanzania on banking topics.
