Career Biography

Phyllis Gleiser is general counsel for Nestlé Colombia, where she leads the company’s legal and compliance strategy and serves as a trusted advisor to senior management on governance, regulatory, commercial and risk matters.

With 16 years at Nestlé and prior legal leadership experience at Procter & Gamble in both Colombia and China, she brings a unique combination of local expertise and international perspective to the role. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with business leaders to support growth while ensuring the highest standards of integrity, compliance and corporate responsibility.

At Nestlé, Phyllis has played a central role in strengthening the legal function’s position as a strategic business partner. She has advised on key business initiatives, corporate governance matters, regulatory engagement, commercial negotiations, risk management programs and compliance frameworks across multiple areas of the business. Her approach emphasises practical solutions, collaboration and the integration of legal considerations into business decision-making.

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Phyllis serves on the board of the Colombian food industry association, contributing to discussions on regulatory developments, industry standards and public policy issues affecting the future of the food sector.
