Ms Xue Ying currently serves as General Counsel of the Jieluoxuan Group. As the head of legal affairs for an innovative AIGC enterprise, she is comprehensively responsible for building the Group’s compliance framework and managing operational risks. She closely follows developments in cutting-edge business and technology, providing detailed and practical solutions that support the company’s rapid and steady growth. Ms Xue has an extensive body of research to her name. She is the author of several legal practice monographs, including Artificial Intelligence Business Compliance: Systems, Methods and Practice and Data Compliance: Introduction, Practice and Advanced Topics. These works have been reprinted multiple times and are highly regarded within the industry. She has also published numerous professional articles in key journals, contributed to the drafting of several national and group standards, and organised or participated in the translation of more than twenty foreign personal information protection laws. Ms Xue previously worked for many years in legal roles at multinational companies, Fortune 500 enterprises and internet companies. She has handled a wide range of business scenarios across sectors such as big data, the Internet of Things, culture and entertainment, and education, including multi-jurisdictional outbound operations. She possesses solid legal expertise in data privacy, intellectual property and AIGC-related matters, supported by over a decade of experience in internet-sector legal practice. Ms Xue also serves as a practical supervisor for the Master of Law programme at Renmin University of China Law School and as a director of the Beijing Comparative Law Research Association. She holds legal practising qualifications, CIPP/E and CIPP/U certifications, and has been recognised among ALB’s “Top 15 In-house IP Lawyers in China” and shortlisted for “China Corporate Women Lawyers of the Year”. She has also received awards including the “Outstanding In-house Counsel Award – Data Protection” from China Business Law Journal, among others.
